Josep María Vía has a PhD in Medicine from the University of Barcelona and a Master in Health Services Administration from the University of Montreal (Canada). Currently, among other positions, he works as a consultant in the health and social and health sector; He is an advisor to the president of the Age & Life Foundation and is in charge of presiding over the program committee of the International Dependency and Quality of Life Congress of this entity.
