She is a veterinarian in the National Veterinary Corps. Since 2015, she has held various positions in the Directorate General for the Food Industry, and is currently Deputy Director General for Food Quality and Sustainability. This Subdirectorate is in charge of drafting regulations on food quality and labelling, as well as other issues related to food sustainability, including organic production and the fight against food waste.
