Peruvian chef who began his journey into Spanish gastronomy in 2014, establishing his presence in Tiradito Madrid, a benchmark among the best restaurants in Madrid.
Throughout his career he has created such notable concepts as Barra M and Luma (Madrid), and has established himself as owner, gastronomic director and executive chef of the successful Maymanta Ibiza (1 Sol in the Repsol Guide) and Kaypa in Menorca.
In April 2024, Omar opens Maymanta Barcelona. A proposal that harmoniously fuses Peruvian tradition and Spanish avant-garde, where he uses his creativity and experience to find meeting points between both cuisines.
