At Coca-Cola we are aware that the climatic emergency demands a decisive response from everyone. Therefore, since 2010, we have launched an ambitious decarbonization program (process with which we will reduce carbon emissions) in all the activities of our value chain: from our direct operations, which include production, transportation and equipment cold, until the rest of the activities of our value chain, such as ingredients and packaging. Precisely packaging is one of the elements of the value chain that most contributes to our carbon footprint. Therefore, one of our biggest challenges is in the sustainable management of our packaging. This management, based on the circular economy, is developed in 4 phases: eco-innovation, transformation, use and recovery.
