Román Suárez

Román Suárez is CEO of uRetail and a member of the Automated Foodservice Expo Advisory Board (HIP). At HIP 2026, he will act as moderator with a direct, applied approach: bringing foodservice automation down to earth beyond the technology narrative. The session will focus on separating real innovation from demonstration effects, analyzing operational frictions (cost, maintenance, payments, user experience, and security), and highlighting the alliances that turn automation into a viable business. The goal is for attendees to leave with clear criteria and actionable insights to decide what to automate, when, and with which partners.
