Sylvia Quintero

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, she studied Hotel Management and Culinary Arts in Boston, where she began her career as a chef at The Ritz-Carlton. She later moved to Europe, working in Germany, and in 1993 relocated to Barcelona to work as Procurement Director at Hotel Arts Barcelona. Since then, she has led procurement operations for food, beverage, services, OS&E, and FF&E across multiple projects, including Grupo Tragaluz and the openings of W Barcelona and W Paris Opéra, among others. Since 2020, she has held the position of Senior Procurement Manager for Iberia at Marriott International, covering the Food, Beverage, Non-Food, and Services.
