Aitor Mate

Aitor Mate is an economist with more than 20 years of experience in international business management. He currently serves as Director of Promotion at ICEX, where he is responsible for coordinating programs that support the internationalization of Spanish companies. He has served as Head Counsellor at the Economic and Commercial Offices of Spain in Guangzhou (China) and Belgrade (Serbia), and has held positions at the Treasury and the Economic Bureau of the Prime Minister. He has been awarded the Order of Civil Merit and the Order of Isabella the Catholic.
