Culinary Action, the gastronomic entrepreneurship initiative of the Basque Culinary Center and LABe Digital Gastronomy Lab, returns to its annual event within HIP for its 2026 edition—an especially significant year as it marks the 10th anniversary of the event. This edition focuses on identifying the trends that are redefining the management of gastronomic businesses, drawing on the firsthand experience of leaders and operators who are driving new models and ways of working.
The objective of Culinary Action at HIP 2026 is to bring together real cases of concepts that stand out for their adaptability, efficiency, and strategic vision. The program will explore practices that improve profitability, optimize operations, and offer new growth opportunities for restaurants and gastronomic projects of different scales.
Essentially, the gathering seeks to address key questions about the future of the sector: Is a new generation of gastronomic businesses emerging—better prepared for today’s challenges? Which approaches and models are proving to be more solid and scalable? How can restaurants evolve to remain competitive in a constantly changing environment? On its tenth anniversary, the event strengthens its position as an essential space to anticipate what’s coming and to share learnings applicable to tomorrow’s management.
