Efrén Álvarez (Lugo, 1989) is Co-CEO and co-founder of Wetaca. He studied Business Administration and Actuarial Sciences at Icade and spent a semester in Ohio (USA). He began his career at BME and Accenture. He took part in the first edition of MasterChef and worked at ABaC (3* Michelin). After a brief period at PwC, he founded Wetaca in 2015. Today, the company has over 100 employees, sells more than 80,000 meals per week, and generates over €20M in annual revenue. He leads product and operations. Passionate about gastronomy, family, and motorcycle road trips.
