THE TALENT OF LUIS VEIRA (A Coruña, 1978) grew up among Michelin-starred chefs but his passion for cooking was forged halfway through the stews of his great-aunt, his godmother, and his grandfather’s caldeiradas. He was born knowing that he wanted to be a chef, at the age of 13, and learned alongside Pepe Rodríguez Rey, in the restaurant El Bohío, Joan Roca and Pepe Solla. His passion for innovation and experimentation now lives on in his latest project, Árbore da Veira, which opened in October 2012.
